Brandy is back! This is her official coming out party with this track. And no the track is not laced with powerful vocal tricks (which we know she is more than capable of) but simply a catchy track, that displays a little bit of Bran Nu (her alter ego rap name), her true vocal gifts, and the hottest r/b cat in the game, Chris Brown (although he spits a hot 16 on this one). I don’t know just loving the sound. Maybe it’s simply that I’m starved for new Brandy Music. Nonetheless, it’s definitely going to get my money when the single officially drops on Itunes. The album, 2/11, is slated for a June release. Until then check out the brand new single from Brandy featuring Chris Brown, Put It Down.

Usher drops another single from his upcoming album, Looking For Myself, called Scream. The new single is a drastic contrast from his current hit single, Climax. The pop, techno styled song let’s me know that this album has a vibe that is reminding me of Raymond vs Raymond. Now although I loved OMG featuring Will I Am, I hope that there are more songs with that Climax vibe. The new album is slated to hit stores 6/12/12.
April 25th, commemorated the 10yr. anniversary of the sudden death of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and I still have a hard time expressing what she meant to the world, and more specifically as a sister to Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas.
Well now that we have all seen the “resurrection” of Tupac, using the hologram at Coachella, TLC will do the same thing for Lisa. The top selling female group is planning a reunion tour for this year, with 5 cities already being booked.
“Left Eye was killed 10 years ago today in a fatal car accident in Honduras. “The word anniversary means a celebration. For us her death will never be a celebration, it’s still something that hurts,” said T-Boz, while Chilli added, “Lisa is our sister. You never get over losing a family member. We love her and we miss her and that isn’t ever going to change.”
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of TLC, the surviving members are working with VH1 on a made-for-TV movie series inspired by their story as well as a new album.
“We’ll have new music right after the movie drops,” Chilli told Essence. “We have everybody that was there with us from the beginning on board.” (via RAP-UP)
As a long-time TLC fan, (I have everything they have ever sold..lol), I pray that this tour comes near me. I’m definitely trying to be in the house. Just knowing that Tionne & Chilli will once again take the stage with Lisa, is worth every dime of it’s price.
