I have been waiting to hear this much anticipated collaboration with J. Cole and TLC. Well today the RocNation artist dropped the gem. The song is called: Crooked Smile, and I’m telling ya’ll this is that music I been missing. Check it out, and you can pre-order his upcoming album Born Sinner, which is due out 6/18.

Pre-Order: J. Cole-Born Sinner

Man here is one from the vault of director Lionel C. Martin, TLC’s original unreleased video of their #1 hit, Creep. Check out the video…then take a trip back down memory lane and watch the one that was released. Just watching this video takes me back to that real rnb music in the 90’s. People forget that this was the all time selling female group in history…and check out their style. Oh well, Also be on the look out for TLC’s biopic movie coming soon.

Little Mix (X-Factor UK winners) are gearing up to drop their debut album, DNA. They dropped a hot new single, Red Planet, featuring none other than TLC’s T-Boz. I have no doubt that this joint will definitely be big overseas, as TLC still has a huge following across the water. The recently were overseas to receive an award.

Natina Reed of the 90’s group, Blaque has passed away this morning in Atlanta according to several reports. Natina was the spitfire of the group (rapper), and also an actress. She starred along side Gabrielle Union in the original Bring It On movie. This tragedy takes place on the eve of her 33rd birthday.

Right now details are sketchy at what happened, but reports are saying that it was a possible hit & run that caused the untimely death of Natina. She does leave behind one child, a 10yr. old son, by rapper Kurupt, formely of Tha Dogg Pound.

It’s so funny how things go…I was at an event in Atlanta that Blaque hosted in memory of TLC’s Lisa “LeftEye” Lopes (the founder of the group Blaque), and actually got to see Natina & Brandy.

According to author Tionna Smalls (What Chilli Wants consultant), Kurupt confirmed that Natina has indeed passed away.

Update: Ronald Lopes via FB has this to say concerning the hit & run concerning Natina’s death!

The year was 1997, and Lil Kim gathered together some of the hottest female mc’s in the game: Left Eye (R.I.P.), Da Brat, Missy Elliot, & Angie Martinez, for her joint, Ladies Night. With the return of Missy Elliot to the game, (her new singles 9th Inning, & Triple Threat), I decided that I would dedicate this throwback Thursday to the ladies.

Also check out one of my favorite female groups of all time, TLC..with their multi-platinum album, Crazy, Sexy, Cool, these women definitely represented! Check out “Creep” and if we could only have another group that could bring even a 1/3 of what T-Boz, Chilli, & Left Eye gave us.

And one more favorite female collaboration, that proves when you get the best together, hits can be made, that become classics. That brings me to Brandy’s “I Wanna Be Down (remix)”…that boasted MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, & YoYo.

April 25th, commemorated the 10yr. anniversary of the sudden death of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and I still have a hard time expressing what she meant to the world, and more specifically as a sister to Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas.

Well now that we have all seen the “resurrection” of Tupac, using the hologram at Coachella, TLC will do the same thing for Lisa. The top selling female group is planning a reunion tour for this year, with 5 cities already being booked.

“Left Eye was killed 10 years ago today in a fatal car accident in Honduras. “The word anniversary means a celebration. For us her death will never be a celebration, it’s still something that hurts,” said T-Boz, while Chilli added, “Lisa is our sister. You never get over losing a family member. We love her and we miss her and that isn’t ever going to change.”
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of TLC, the surviving members are working with VH1 on a made-for-TV movie series inspired by their story as well as a new album.
“We’ll have new music right after the movie drops,” Chilli told Essence. “We have everybody that was there with us from the beginning on board.” (via RAP-UP)

As a long-time TLC fan, (I have everything they have ever, I pray that this tour comes near me. I’m definitely trying to be in the house. Just knowing that Tionne & Chilli will once again take the stage with Lisa, is worth every dime of it’s price.

This is an unreleased collaboration between Block Starz Music LLC recording artist Bootleg of The Dayton Family and Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes of TLC. Recorded a few months before her death, Left Eye‘s verse on the song ‘Fantasies’ is reportedly the only 16-bar verse she ever recorded as a feature. Via Xclusives Zone

When Tyrese released the link to his new video for “Nothing On You” featuring Chilli, I was clicking the link so fast, my computer got hung up. LOL. I couldn’t wait to see the finished product of this video. Now every CelebrityMinistry reader know that I’m a sucker for good r/b, and the video must be dead on for me. Well this one does not disappoint. Never have a seen a video filled with so much believability, truth (lyrics of the song) being played out, and most importantly chemistry between celebs. Well there may have been a few others, but this says it all.

After watching the video, I immediately hit up Chilli via twitter, letting her know how much I loved the video, and that it was funny to see her kissing in the video. Because from watching her show, What Chilli Wants, we know how serious she is about showing that type of affection, yes even in a video. But I’m glad she did, that’s what made it believable to me. When I hear this song, a bunch of hugs would not have done it for me. lol. Check out the video below, and cop Tyrese latest album, Open Invitation-Reloaded now. And let the rumors begin. 🙂

Tyrese dropped a “teaser” for his latest video, NOTHING ON YOU, featuring Chilli of TLC. Let me start by saying, Chilli continues to look flawless. Her workout regimen is crazy (in a good way), and she stays on that H2O. With all that being said, she was perfect for this video with Tyrese. And Tyrese..I mean what can you say? The two exudes sexiness in this new video. Seeing Chilli lying on the bed (in one of the scenes) only reminded me of her in the “U Got It Bad” video. Man I’m still praying that some way, God can bring that relationship back together. Okay, Check out the teaser for Tyrese’s latest single, Nothing On You. TYRESE WROTE A LETTER TO HIS FANS
