SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY-PSALM 37:4

For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. (Jeremiah 29:11 AMP)
Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. (Psalm 37:4 AMP)
Father today I pray that YOUR WILL becomes the desires of my heart! -Margo

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY-JAMES 4:4

“You [are like] unfaithful wives [having illicit love affairs with the world and breaking your marriage vow to God]! Do you not know that being the world’s friend is being God’s enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world takes his stand as an enemy of God.”-James 4:4

Wow, this scripture says so much! After all that God has done for us (sending Christ to die in our stead that we may be redeemed) and yet we still want to go after OUR PLANS, do our own thang (separate from God). Yet again I say: “there is no plan that leads to the greatest level of success we could think of for our lives, than that which God created for us from the beginning.”-margo

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY-EPHESIANS 2:4-6

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:5-10 KJV)

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY: ISAIAH 26:4

So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages]. (Isaiah 26:4 AMP)
