[WORD OF THE DAY] PERFECT LOVE CAST OUT ALL FEAR-1 JOHN 4:18

Fear…it only “lives” when we have no relationship with love! Perfect love cast out all fear. Don’t be put off because you read the word “perfect” it only means (untainted). When we read this scripture in 1 John 4 :18 “there is no fear in love (dread does not exist) but full grown love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and so he who is afraid has NOT reached the full maturity of love (is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection)!” Whether in success, failure, or life in general fear has no part in you. But we must MATURE in love in order to cast fear out. Remember fear comes to attempt to thwart the plan of God for your life. Choose love in every situation. Do not convince yourself through human logic that because hard times have come that love is meaningless, not enough, too confusing, etc…rather understand that maturing in LOVE is the answer to every issue!

Nothing matters if you don’t have love!!

God Uses The Strangest Things

I often think about what am I really “seeing” when I’m in the midst of a storm? Am I seeing the end result, am I seeing the past(what I could have done to protect myself from it) or am I seeing nothing but the STORM(right then in the present)?

It is my experience that sometimes it’s all these things in the blink of an eye. Sometimes it’s simply the current situation.

The worst thing I can see is the PAST! Be careful when ppl say: I’m only bringing up your past so that you can learn from it and make sure it never happens again!

People (well ill say for those who are in Christ) stop listening to mans logic & wisdom…if you are constantly reminded of what went wrong…whose speaking of what to do right? Whose teaching you how to forgive & forget? YES FORGET…meaning when you truly forgive someone…when see them, hear them, the past situation is not the first thing that comes to mind! Yes I know it’s HARD! It’s why you need the strength of God to walk it out! Doesn’t mean you have to be best friends again, or date, etc…but it does mean that there is NO ROOT of bitterness that has hold of you! (Hebrews 12:15) remember whats growing on the INSIDE of you can kill you quicker than any outside circumstance!

Please LET GOD BE THE JUDGE, for HE is the only ONE that knows the whole truth concerning the STORM! And trust He will judge accordingly. None of us have the right to judge someone…no sin greater than the other, God says that the wages if sin is death..but guess which death He speaking of…the one that count..SPIRITUAL! Why should we fear any man who can only kill the body, vs the one who can kill both?

It was through accident that left my 4yr old son lying in a hospital bed brain dead that brought me to Christ. At the time I was going through the storm I went through every emotion possible …but GOD, my SPEECH changed from VICTIM, to CONQUEROR! And I LOST a lot of friends! I gained new ones…but that CIRCLE is small now! And filled with those who could careless who I was before Christ, but push me daily to be WHO HE CREATED ME TO BE!

Friends, family, others may never understand WHY u love someone, why u don’t give up, why u won’t quit? But remember its not for them too…you however must ensure that you are committed to the CALLING!

WORD OF THE DAY: DON’T DIE WITH YOUR GIFTS IN YOU

Proverbs 18:16 "A man’s gifts makes room for him and brings before great men."

"The wealthiest places on earth are the cemeteries. In them lies treasures not manifested."-Margo/Joel Osteen

Good Evening,

The other day while on the phone with one of very best friends, I took a minute to encourage, lift her up, and motivate her to make sure she never give up hope! To ensure that she would continually be focused on the plan (hope) that God has for her life. See I know that when it seems as if it is taking forever to see something manifest, we can easily be discouraged, or dissuaded in what God has spoken. Well as I was speaking something came out of my mouth that I KNOW wasn’t from me (haha I had never even thought on that level). I said, "If you die with that hope(plan) still in you, you won’t even be able to REST IN PEACE." When I said it, I had to pause for a moment, and my friend did the same…and immediately we both knew that was revelation from above right there.

The scripture tells us that though the flesh dies, the spirit lives forever. It’s almost as if there is no way to escape the word of God for your life. He is so dedicated to seeing us become who He destined us to be that He bound Himself by His word saying, "it shall not return to Him void (producing any effect, useless), but it shall accomplish that which I please and PURPOSE, and it shall prosper (break out, come mightily, go over, be profitable) in the thing for which I sent it." For those who read my blog consistently yall know my mantra: "
It would be a shame to have lived this life and never become who God destined you to be." It’s as if you were never born. So you see why the owner who gave the servants talents (in Matthew 25) was so upset with the servant who "buried" his talent and never put it to use? The gifts/talents that the Father has given us is without repentance (regret), and He intends for us to take them, and grow to higher levels with them. For instance, if you can sing, nurture that gift, learn all about it (grow it). Take vocal lessons to strengthen the gift to get all you can out of it. Sing all the time (multiply the gift). Never take it for granted by misusing it, or abusing (such as smoking, or never exercising it). The gift will make room for you and bring you before great men (people in influential positions, or high authority)…think of the likes of Jennifer Hudson or John Legend, or the likes of President Obama or Oprah Winfrey.

Don’t die with the gift still in you! It was given to you to bless someone’s life whether it’s one person or millions, you are responsible for the gift/talent given to you. Now bless God today (by using your gift).

So the question is: When you die will you rest in peace?
