Everyone whose technology driven has heard of Steve Jobs, now it’s time to know and get an understanding of who he was. This is a great documentary done on the Billionaire Inventor of Apple. To me, Steve Jobs epitomizes in some way, what it means to become who you were destined to be. His destiny, changed the world in which we live. What will your destiny do?

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to begin “hacking” Siri to get it to work on earlier generation Apple products. Well it seems it has been done to a degree, although they reporting that it’s not working well on a few devices, and they are not releasing it as of yet? Check it out.

Apple has released the new version of Itunes 10.5, gearing up for it’s new IOS 5 release, 10/12. I’m glad they actually released the Itunes update first, so hopefully the servers will not crash while I’m attempting to get the new software update. The IOS 5 boast over 200 new updates, and I can’t wait. I want to see how I love the update before I order my Iphone 4S. Go now and get it!

Every iPhone includes an update iTunes, but this may be the last time iPhone users need the media-playing computer software.

One of the things that iTunes 10.5 brings is the iOS 5 update for iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches, which will do away with the need to tether your mobile device to a computer to sync it. The new release also enables Wi-Fi syncing between the Apple mobile devices and iTunes on a PC or Mac.

In addition, the update adds some iCloud features, including iTunes Match, which will synchronize music on a user’s computer with iCloud storage, even for songs not purchased via the iTunes store. Once the music is up in your iCloud, you’ll be able to download it to any Apple device onto which you’ve logged in. The $24.99-a-year service isn’t available today despite the new iTunes release, but will go live tomorrow, October 12, according to a previous Apple press release.

Lil Wayne Speaks Candidly About His Life

Lil Wayne released a 28 min “PSA” where he talks about Steve Jobs passing, his drinking habits, tattoos, why he plays guitar, skateboarding, and more. (spotted @Nahright)

At the 3:00 minute mark in the video he begins the rant about his infamous styrofoam cup:

“Everybody got the cup now. I started drinking [syrup] because I’m from the south. People been drinking syrup for years. That’s where it was made popular. I’m human…I respected it because it was a culture. I didn’t do it because it was cool. When I picked it up ya’ll didn’t know what it was…what I wanna say is…I can’t blame the kids. I blame you adults. It’s ok for a kid to see something and want to be like it. It’s only right. But for an adult to fabricate something for some dumb reason it messes up our youth and messes up the future. So I ask you what is your reason, why are you drinking syrup?…I started drinking it because I was sick…but this is tea in my cup right now..” Read the rest of this entry »

I’m so sad to hear this. I have been a fan of Apple for awhile, and Steve Jobs creative genius that came with the iPad will always be his legacy! R.I.P. Steve Jobs.
Apple Inc (AAPL.O) co-founder and former CEO Steve Jobs, counted among the greatest American CEOs of his generation, died on Wednesday at the age of 56, after a years-long and highly public battle with cancer and other health issues.

Jobs’ death was announced by Apple in a statement late on Wednesday.

The Silicon Valley icon who gave the world the iPod and the iPhone resigned as CEO of the world’s largest technology corporation in August, handing the reins to current chief executive Tim Cook.

Jobs, who fought a rare form of pancreatic cancer, was deemed the heart and soul of a company that rivals Exxon Mobil (XOM.N) as the most valuable in America. (Reporting by Edwin Chan; Editing by Gary Hill)

According to Mashable, Apple will announce the release of Iphone 5 on October 4th. The new CEO Tim Cook will hold a big media event that day, giving us the full 411 on Apples new product. The new Iphone is said to be released a few weeks following the announcement. Stay tuned #teamapple

*NOTE* Today when I purchased Hamilton Park’s album from my Mac, they automatically downloaded to my IPHONE, but not my IPAD.

Steve Jobs Resigns!

Apples CEO Steve Jobs has officially decided to resign from his post. The founder sent out a press release today. It’s a sad day for #teamapple but I hope he will continue to have his imprint on the brand in some way. So board of directors please make it happen.

PRESS RELEASE: Letter from Steve Jobs

August 24, 2011–To the Apple Board of Directors and the Apple Community:

I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.

I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee.

As far as my successor goes, I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.

I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.

I have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple, and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you.

apple, Steve jobs

Now Apple has designed a way that you don’t have to be at your computer to upload something you purchased to all the several devices you may have ie Ipad/Iphone/Ipod…instead iCloud will do that for you. Check it out.

Cloud is so much more than a hard drive in the sky. It’s the effortless way to access just about everything on all your devices. iCloud stores your content so it’s always accessible from your iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Mac, or PC.* It gives you instant access to your music, apps, latest photos, and more. And it keeps your email, contacts, and calendars up to date across all your devices. No syncing required. No management required. In fact, no anything required. iCloud does it all for you.
