This is one movie I can’t wait to see. Tyler Perry seem to have put his best foot forward in this dramatic twist of love, lust, and temptation in his new movie: Temptation. The movie was previously titled “The Marriage Counselor” after the stage play, but as production went on, the name changed. Starring Lance Gross, Jurnee Smolette, Kim Kardashian, Brandy, and more…I don’t think it will disappoint. The movie debuts 3/29. Check out the trailer.

A bold exploration of the intrigue and perils of infidelity, Tyler Perry’s Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor is a compelling love story that dives straight into the heart of obsessive passion. “It’s about a woman who starts to get restless in her relationship and her choice to be with another man has a huge effect on the rest of her life,” explains screenwriter/producer/director Tyler Perry. “She goes on a journey – in her career and in her marriage – and she ends up in a very different place than she expected.” In a departure from his previous dramas, this explosive film finds Perry exploring the nature of desire – and just how powerful and dangerous a taste of the forbidden can be. “This is definitely one of the most provocative movies – sexually and otherwise – that I’ve made,” says the director. “There are a lot of people who struggle in their relationships. They make bad choices about their marriages. They get divorced. And so many of them don’t step out of their situation and really think about the consequences of what they’re doing. This movie asks, ‘Are you sure you want to do this?’ It sends up a flag.”

So So Def’s Princess of RnB, Dondria, gave her fans a treat by covering one of her favorite artist, Brandy. Take a listen to this rising Icon show off her skills, singing Something’s Missing. She definitely did Brandy justice on this one. I can’t wait for her new album to drop, which is slated for the summer of 2013.

2013 better get ready because Dondria definitely is here to stay.

R/B is making a full recovery in this year of 2012. With albums from Monica, Brandy, Miguel, & Chris Brown topping the charts this year, I’m so happy to hear my favorite genre on the rise again. Now singer/songwriter, Ne-Yo is gearing up to bring us his offering in the form of R.E.D on 11/6. Check out this new joint, Forever Now.

The day after the release of her new album: Two Eleven, Brandy sends out a big thank you to her fans, who she affectionately call “Starz” to let them know how appreciative she is for them copping her new joint. I will say if you love r/b you have to cop this album. Brandy gives it all to you on this one. Definitely should be in the category for best r/b album of the year. Brandy looks soooo young. Just beautiful, and the album is incredible. I’m so happy she didn’t give up on the purpose God had for her life. I feel like the devil did everything he could to attempt to snatch her purpose from her, but she kept fighting. You delivered in this one lady!Check it out the thank you video below and one of my favorite joints off the album(the entire album is great), So Sick, and Do You Know What You Have.

I also like the Chris Brown written joint: Slower. After writing Rihanna’s top 10 hit, Disturbia, his skills just continue to get better.

Brandy album is definitely shaping up to be a good one. This joint, Let Me Go, produced by Bangladesh is another nice mid tempo joint. Check it out, and cop the album 10/16.

Wow one of the most anticipated albums of the year, Brandy: Two Eleven. I can’t wait for 10/16 to get here. This is another album, I will walk into Best Buy and purchase. Brandy took her time, and this album proves that she still got it. This new joint, No Such Thing As Too Late, is just the icing on the cake that make me know I will purchase this album. Check it out. Are you feeling Brandy’s new joint?

The year was 1997, and Lil Kim gathered together some of the hottest female mc’s in the game: Left Eye (R.I.P.), Da Brat, Missy Elliot, & Angie Martinez, for her joint, Ladies Night. With the return of Missy Elliot to the game, (her new singles 9th Inning, & Triple Threat), I decided that I would dedicate this throwback Thursday to the ladies.

Also check out one of my favorite female groups of all time, TLC..with their multi-platinum album, Crazy, Sexy, Cool, these women definitely represented! Check out “Creep” and if we could only have another group that could bring even a 1/3 of what T-Boz, Chilli, & Left Eye gave us.

And one more favorite female collaboration, that proves when you get the best together, hits can be made, that become classics. That brings me to Brandy’s “I Wanna Be Down (remix)”…that boasted MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, & YoYo.

BUY: Lil Kim feat. Angie Martinez, Left Eye, Da Brat & Missy Elliot-Not Tonight (Remix)
