Scripture Of The Day-1John 4:18

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”-1 John 4:18 I said that to say this, Perfect Love absolutely exists but you must mature into it. It’s that LOVE that truly forgives ( you know the one that forgets along with it…knowing that if it doesn’t the problem will surely rear it’s ugly head again causing more problems). lol It’s funny that God even wanted to make sure that we knew it did exist…so the best example HE could come up with was by saying GOD IS LOVE. that embodies the fullness of who and what love is…SACRIFICE & UNDERSTANDING THAT NO MAN IN THIS MORTAL BODY IS PERFECT, but PERFECT LOVE from man is ATTAINABLE.-Margo Do you realize how much easier life can be for each of us, when we understand what REAL LOVE is? There is something to be said about LOVE that is true, mature, and is everything that 1 Corinthians 13 says it is. But with God we must believe that it’s absolutely true! There is nothing like the love of God, and yet it is absolutely achievable for us, yes even in our mortal bodies. Why & how you ask? By the Holy Spirit that’s how. The bible also says in Romans 5:5 “Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us.” See the love has been given to us by the Holy Spirit, so it’s there, but just like any gift from God, it must be nourished, tested, tried, and made mature. When your love is made mature, then you will see all the things in 1Cor13 come to fruition.-Margo
