Yes!!! Latocha Scott you better sang this new joint. If ya’ll don’t remember her (and if you don’t smh) but former (I hate saying that) Xscape member is bringing the sexiness of rnb back on this brand new track. The newest RnB Diva (TVONE Reality Show) is giving me everything on this track, which was produced by Ensayne Wayne. Because she is now & forever So So Def (in this blogger’s heart) I have to show her love…and with music like this it’s not hard. Take a listen! The joint is called: Show Off.

It’s been 20 years for the Remarkable label: So So Def. Founder/CEO, Jermaine Dupri, is preparing to celebrate his chart-topping 20 year career. The super producer has introduced us to the likes of Kris Kross, Da Brat, Bow Wow, Dondria, Usher (on the large scale), heck even the reintroduction of Mariah Carey (The Emancipation of MiMi). The music mogul has decided to celebrate his 20 year anniversary in the form of a concert, with So So Def acts, old & new. The concert will be held at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA, on 2/23/13. Tickets go on sale via ticketmaster on 1/19. Until then check out the So So Def Celebration Remix featuring JE, Dondria, Da Brat, Fresco Kane, & Bow Wow.

UPDATE: Jermaine Dupri made the announcement official today, by going to city hall in Atlanta, and since he is the “mayor” it’s about to go down for ONE NIGHT ONLY…all of the So So Def roster (past & present) will be live in concert on ONE STAGE to celebrate 20 years of hits. On hand for the presser was Dondria, Kris Kross, Xscape (LaTocha & Tamika), Bone Crusher, Jagged Edge, & Da Brat.

Seeing Latocha Scott & Tamika Scott at the presser was a breath of fresh air. I didn’t know if there would be any representation of Xscape at all, so I’m so happy just to see that. With all of the turmoil that surrounded the break up of the group, I would say that I’m praying that for just this ONE NIGHT..that hurt feelings, egos, miscommunications, etc..can be placed  (in the injury bowl), on hold…until they can all let God heal them, so that Jermaine Dupri can see all his multi-platinum artist in one spot celebrating this achievement. Because whether they all like it or not…God brought them all together, and they gave us some of the most timeless music ever…I’m going to be in the building…I’m going be at the celebration…I pray that Kandi & Tameka Harris is as well. And yes, it is that simple!

Nonetheless, it’s going to be the biggest party in Atlanta that night. Finally, we get to show Jermaine Dupri how much we love and respect what he has done in the industry for over 20years. Yall Know What ThisIz!

LaTocha Scott just dropped her new track, So Long, via Twitter, and it does not disappoint. The song is that true R/B that we are missing so bad in this day and time. Although strides are being made to change that, and LaTocha is definitely doing her part. So Long was produced by newcomer JRob, and LaTocha assures that we will be hearing a lot more from him soon. Check out the new track.

Hey, she coming strongggg! One fourth of the 90’s group, Xscape, LaTocha Scott is hitting the r/b scene strong with her first single, Bad Timing, and now this new joint, Complicated, featuring Wale. It has never been a secret that she can sing, and now with a new look(yes she has lost weight) and past demons(any discension between former members of the group) expelled, this songstress is ready to go. Although this site continues to pray for at least one more reunion between the ladies, right now, I’ll just support them individually, and now it’s LaTocha’s turn. Check out her brand new single, and cop Bad Timing now on Itunes.

The OMG Girlz drop there hot new single, Where The Boys At. Well the girls are growing up, and although I know papa T.I. will be right there if they should make a video for this one, but it’s good to see the young ladies continue to evolve into superstars. One thing is for sure, the female group market is wide open, so someone has to step right in, why not Beauty, Star, and Baby Doll?!

LaTocha Scott, from the platinum selling 90’s group, Xscape, has returned with a new single, Bad Timing. I’m loving this new joint. LaTocha just has the voice that will make you listen if all she was singing was the alphabet. Of course it’s hard for this blogger to hear songs from her and not think about how Xscape would possibly have been much bigger than Destiny Child ever was, had they stayed together. I’m so optimistic, and believe that when God can create a group like that, no one should be able to break it apart, not even the memembers of the group. He always say, pride comes before the fall, so all we need is for them to let it go, cause we need the GIFTS! Hey, that 90’s sound is back, and with SWV recently releasing a new album (and it sounds good), I believe Xscape would fill the void that has been left open in the female group category. Sorry about the “soapbox,” but my readers already know! Latocha definitely still has IT, support the single by copping it now on Itunes.
