The NBA playoffs begin tonight with Dallas vs Miami. Lebron and Dwyane Wade get there second chance at getting rings, with Wade already having one. Dirk also getting his second chance to get his first. Who will prevail?

MIKE BROWN GETS HIS OFFICIAL “WELCOMING” TO THE LAKERS TOMORROW

The Lakers are set to INTRODUCE their new head coach, Mike Brown, tomorrow at 3pm Pacific time. Earlier this week, Jim Buss stated that they should have consulted superstar Kobe Brown concerning hiring Mike Brown. Well at the end of the day, it’s a done deal now, and I believe Kobe is the ultimate professional, but more importantly he simply is about winning. So Mike Brown, must carry the attitude of a winner, and that begins now.

Dwight Howard 1st Choice is Orlando

Looks like Dwight Howard is NOT having dreams of following in Shaquille Oneal’s footsteps, and bolting Orlando to end up in LA. It’s now being reported that Howard’s first choice is to remain in Orlando and create his own “footsteps” for others to follow in. Honestly I don’t think that the Lakers are in DIRE need of Howard. Of course I’m no fool, if the Lakers were able to do a straight up trade for the center, that’s one thing, but giving up the farm, NO. In my opinion, a point guard is much more needed. Especially being that now the triangle may be gone forever, so they definitely will need a point guard to come in and start for the aging Fisher.

Dwight Howard is not planning on following Shaquille O’Neal’s lead and bolting the Orlando Magic via fee agency.

Or so Howard is saying a year before the he hits the open market following next season. The center is is under contract with the Magic through the 2012-13 season, but can terminate the deal a year early.

O’Neal, looking to take his talents to Hollywood, left the Magic for the Los Angeles Lakers after the 1995-96 season.

“I’m not trying to run behind nobody like Shaq or be behind somebody else,” Howard told the Orlando Sentinel Monday.

“I want to start my own path and I want people to follow my path and not just follow somebody else’s path. I want to have my own path, and I want to start that here in Orlando. But I can’t do it alone. Not only do I need the right teammates, but I need the city behind me. That’s the only way it’s going to get done. We can change this small city that we have — this small market that we have — and we can make it a big market.”

So Laker fans don’t hold your breath to see this
instead hope and pray to see something like this Should Mike Brown do completely away with the triangle, Chris Paul not only has superstar status, but is definitely the best point guard in the league right now. I know D. Rose won the MVP, but all in all, CP3 is the best all around.

NEW MUSIC: J. COLE-HOW HIGH

A “new” joint just surfaced from J. Cole entitled How High, which was actually on an unofficial mixtape called “We Got A Buzz Now.” Not sure if this is suppose to be his first single for his upcoming album, or if it’s just a joint thrown out there to keep his fans wanting more. I know he is awaiting “clearance” for the track I believe will be his first single, with production by Kanye West. We shall see, but for more check out this joint.
