SC RUNNING BACK MARCUS LATTIMORE INJURES KNEE

South Carolina’s star running back, Marcus Lattimore, suffered a very severe knee injury today versus Tennessee, as he was hit helmet to knee. The Junior running back was just getting back to form after suffering a season ending injury last year to the other knee (torn acl).

Seeing that hit today live you knew it wasn’t good. The look of horror on Marcus face when he looked down at his leg told the entire story. That it is going to take a miracle from God to see him back on the field again. No details were given out of the specifics of the injury as of yet, but after the reporter spoke concerning the emotional state of Marcus & his mother…its just heartbreaking.

Every announcer spoke of how awesome a man Marcus is, and how no matter what happens they know he will be okay. I want to back up that sentiment saying the same. Coming from a faith filled background, I just hope that his family won’t let him give up, because Marcus is everything that’s good for the game of football. My heart goes out to his family, and I pray that the injury only look worse than it is, and there is an NFL team that will take a chance on Duncan, SC finest. #RebelNation Stand-Up

UPDATE:  The word from the doctors is Marcus has a BROKEN FEMUR, BROKEN PATELLA, TORN ACL, TORN PCL, TORN MCL, & TORN LCL, which basically means he tore every ligament in his knee. Please keep the prayers going for this young man. It’s not over til God says it’s over. I believe in miracles.

"SO THEY DOUBT ME?..WATCH ME WORK" KELSEY BONE: LadyGamecock

Lady Gamecock fans…tonight I went to see Kelsey Bone play at Clemson University, and I was not disappointed. The freshman phenom is worth all the hype…oh wait…Kelsey has no hype…it’s all about Griner, and Diggins…wow people just don’t get it. Kelsey finished the game with 32pts/14rbs and it was only on maybe 4 of those shots that she had to really work hard. I saw up close and personal the jump hook, and the drop step, yea both were sweet. Yet let me tell you guys what impressed me the most about the Freshman, when they tied the game up to send it to the first overtime (oh yea the game went into double overtime), the team was up by two, and allowed Clemson to score. The players on the court came to the bench with their heads down, looking like they had just lost…and Kelsey screamed out umm I will paraphrase…lol “F that…we never been here before..c’mon let’s go!” That right there lady gamecock fans is the HOPE I spoke about in my last blog.

So where is the love for Kelsey Bone? During Espn2 telecast of the Uconn vs Texas game, the announcers were talking about the “freshman to look out for” and can you believe that they did not even mention Kelsey? My goodness the #2 player in the country…(wrong rating…they will see) and you don’t even mention her name? I’m just beside myself. Is it because she is at the University of South Carolina? No I know what it is…the commentators did not do their research. However you want to put it, they failed to acknowledge her…and now she is ready to give them no choice but to say “IT’S KELSEY BONE…YOU KNOW HER NAME, AND YOU KNOW HER WORTH” yeah you DOUBTED HER…NOW WATCH HER WORK!
