[OFFICIAL TRAILER] @TYLERPERRY-TEMPTATION

This is one movie I can’t wait to see. Tyler Perry seem to have put his best foot forward in this dramatic twist of love, lust, and temptation in his new movie: Temptation. The movie was previously titled “The Marriage Counselor” after the stage play, but as production went on, the name changed. Starring Lance Gross, Jurnee Smolette, Kim Kardashian, Brandy, and more…I don’t think it will disappoint. The movie debuts 3/29. Check out the trailer.

Synopsis

A bold exploration of the intrigue and perils of infidelity, Tyler Perry’s Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor is a compelling love story that dives straight into the heart of obsessive passion. “It’s about a woman who starts to get restless in her relationship and her choice to be with another man has a huge effect on the rest of her life,” explains screenwriter/producer/director Tyler Perry. “She goes on a journey – in her career and in her marriage – and she ends up in a very different place than she expected.” In a departure from his previous dramas, this explosive film finds Perry exploring the nature of desire – and just how powerful and dangerous a taste of the forbidden can be. “This is definitely one of the most provocative movies – sexually and otherwise – that I’ve made,” says the director. “There are a lot of people who struggle in their relationships. They make bad choices about their marriages. They get divorced. And so many of them don’t step out of their situation and really think about the consequences of what they’re doing. This movie asks, ‘Are you sure you want to do this?’ It sends up a flag.”

TLC PLANNING REUNION TOUR: LEFT EYE TO BE HOLOGRAMMED

April 25th, commemorated the 10yr. anniversary of the sudden death of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and I still have a hard time expressing what she meant to the world, and more specifically as a sister to Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas.

Well now that we have all seen the “resurrection” of Tupac, using the hologram at Coachella, TLC will do the same thing for Lisa. The top selling female group is planning a reunion tour for this year, with 5 cities already being booked.

“Left Eye was killed 10 years ago today in a fatal car accident in Honduras. “The word anniversary means a celebration. For us her death will never be a celebration, it’s still something that hurts,” said T-Boz, while Chilli added, “Lisa is our sister. You never get over losing a family member. We love her and we miss her and that isn’t ever going to change.”
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of TLC, the surviving members are working with VH1 on a made-for-TV movie series inspired by their story as well as a new album.
“We’ll have new music right after the movie drops,” Chilli told Essence. “We have everybody that was there with us from the beginning on board.” (via RAP-UP)

As a long-time TLC fan, (I have everything they have ever sold..lol), I pray that this tour comes near me. I’m definitely trying to be in the house. Just knowing that Tionne & Chilli will once again take the stage with Lisa, is worth every dime of it’s price.

[MOVIE ALERT] ICE CUBE RETURNS WITH-LAST FRIDAY

Are you ready for the LAST FRIDAY? Well finally it looks as if we are about to get it. One of Urban cinemas classics by far. The Friday installments have kept us all laughing, but we want to see Ice Cube reunite with Chris Tucker on this one. Check out what Oshea Jackson had to say about a possible reuniting with Chris Tucker on the movie.

“We was waiting on New Line to cut a check. They did that, and now, I’m writing the next ‘Friday’ movie. To me, it’s really about not asking Chris over and over again. It’s about putting the script in his hand and getting the ball rollin’ for real. He’s not gonna say yes until he see the script and like what he’s doing in the new movie. That, to me, is the next step.”

“I love Chris, I want him to do the movie. I think his fans want it. Ultimately, that’s what we in the business for: to please our fans and the people who’ve supported us all these years — to give them what they want, not just give them what we want to give them.” (SOURCE)

Hopefully they will get F. Gary Gray to direct the movie as well. Crossing my fingers, hoping to see this one take place.
