NEW VIDEO: DAWN RICHARD-SMFU (SAVE ME FROM YOU)

It’s finally here. Dawn Richard debuted her first solo video for her single SMFU (Save Me From You). The singer/songwriter was on 106 & Park to debut the new joint spoke about this song being personal and from the heart. The song already spoke volumes, and the visual only gave life to her words. She looks amazing in the video, and it only makes the anticipation for her debut album, GoldenHearts, build even higher. Dawn was named to Soul Train’s Top 10 Freshmen of 2012, and besides So So Def artists, and Anthony Q, there is no one I want to see win more. Her journey has been long and hard at times, but like she said via twitter: “When they tell you “you can’t” let GOD show them “you can”!”

There are only a handful of artist, that I would buy there music no matter what and decide if I like it later…and one is Dawn Richard. She collaborates with Blake McGrath on this new joint entitled FORGET ABOUT THE WORLD. Check it out.

Also Dawn is busy in the studio preparing her debut solo album: GOLDENHEARTS to be released later this year, but on 1/5 she will debut her video for her single, SAVING MYSELF FROM YOU, on 106 & Park. On 1/8/12, Que who goes by the moniker ANTHONY Q now, will release his new single, but for now, enjoy See Me.

Ah Dawn Richard. Have you ever wanted to see someone make it so bad? Well Dawn Richard is one of those people I want to see succeed. I can tell you about how beautiful her voice is (because of it’s uniqueness) simply something I can listen to period. There are only a few other artists that I feel this way about. Well she just released her brand new single: December Sky. It’s her Christmas anthem to those she love, but may not get to see for the holidays. [VIDEO] DAWN RICHARD SET TO RELEASE NEW SONG-DECEMBER SKY

Daily I try to come up with words that can rightfully describe the soulfulness that is Dawn Richard. Or to describe the uniqueness of her God-given voice that keeps me listening to each and every track she releases. But yet, I am reduced to simply saying that with every song she sings on my DL money will be ready to purchase.
The all encompassing group member, of Diddy Dirty Money, is set to soar on her own, with her debut album: Golden Hearts, which is set to be released early 2012. Dawn takes the time out of her recording session to speak to her fans, to let all the “hearts” know that she will be releasing a Christmas single on iTunes 12/1. The song is called December Sky, and she gives a sneak peak into the concept of the song, and allows a snippet to be heard. Dawn Richard has launched her solo career, and now finally, T-Pain has released his new video: Fantasy from his PreRevolver Mixtape. The album ReVolver drops 12/6. I love T-Pain, but nabbing Dawn just took this song to another level for me. Like I said before, Dawn on a mission, and she won’t stop, this is reality. Her unique voice has taken her all around the world, and now she’s ready to take those trips solo. The singer/songwriter formerly of Danity Kane, and Diddy Dirty Money, is ready to launch her solo career and it lifted off this past week at the Roxy.
