The movie stars Perry, Gabrielle Union, & Thandie Newton. Tyler Perry shows no sign of quitting anytime soon, with his new dramatic television show, FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE, still doing live plays, or creating movies for the big screen, the mogul is just getting started. Check out the official trailer and synopsis of the upcoming movie. And yes, your girl will be going to see this one too. Read the rest of this entry »
Okay, I just bought Tyler Perry’s newest stage play on Itunes: A MADEA CHRISTMAS, and I can’t believe it, but this is probably the funniest play he has done to date. He has a lot of the regulars in this one like, Cheryl “Pepsi” Riley, Cassi Davis, and Chandra Currelly-Young. But the person who really makes this one the funniest play I have seen by Tyler is the newcomer: Patrice Lovely as Hattie. Absolutely hilarious. If you are looking for good family entertainment with a message, please check out Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas.

Oprah Winfrey did not get off to a good start as far as programming went for her new network OWN, but I believe things may be looking up. Her 5 part documentary series called: VISIONARIES, will spotlight Tyler Perry, Tom Ford, James Cameron, Will I Am, and Annie Leibovitz. The show will delve into the creative process of some of the world’s most renowned, in their field. Giving the viewer an inspiring way to look within, and hopefully bring out their own gifts and talents.
The series premieres October 16, with Tyler Perry, @8pm only on OWN. Take a look at a sneek peak of the series.

Tyler Perry just breathed new LIFE into his fans by announcing that he will begin shooting new episodes of the House of Payne. It was previously said that the upcoming season would be the last for the Sitcom, but TBS ordering more episodes is definitely a good thing.
@tylerperry: I begin taping House of Payne on Monday. Did you know TBS ordered 42 more episodes?!
Tyler Perry is gearing up to bring his play,The Marriage Counselor, to the big screen. This will be Tyler’s 13th production between he, and Lions Gate Films. No word yet on the cast, but they are set to start production October 25. The movie will center around a married couple, (the husband is an accountant, and the wife a psychologist), where the wife will have a hard time taking her own advice that she gives to couples each day. Isn’t it funny that it’s easy to give advice, but very hard to take it when you are in the exact same situation?
Well I say bring on the funny and the lesson Mr. Perry.
As Tyler Perry prepares to say goodbye to The House of Payne, he has made sure to leave his fans with something they can sink their teeth into for at least 5 more seasons: For Better or Worse. The new (drama styled) sitcom stars Michael Jai White, and Tasha Smith, from Perry’s Why Did I Get Married series. TBS has gone a long way into investing in Tyler’s endeavors, and it’s good to see they are still aboard. With over 222 episodes, The House of Payne has a very successful run, and with Perry being the business man he is, those actors/actresses will “eat” for a long time off of the royalty checks.
