[SPORTS] LAKERS STAR KOBE BRYANT HAS TORN LIGAMENT IN WRIST

Ah when it rains it pours. Word just came from the Lakers that all-star guard, Kobe Bryant, suffered a torn ligament in the preseason game vs the Clippers. The future hall of famer is listed as day to day.

I’ll tell ya, as a Laker fan, it just seems that the hill is getting steeper and steeper for this seasons Laker team. With failed Chris Paul trade, to the departure of Lamar Odom, and the uncertainty of Pau & Drew even being on the team all season (being that the Lakers still hope to land Dwight Howard). It makes it hard to understand what Jim Buss is doing. Nonetheless, I’m a Lakers fan for life, so at the end of the day you have to take the good with the bad. For anyone who has ever had a torn ligament anywhere, you know there is no true time table for healing…I tore a ligament in my finger, and after about 3weeks it was healed…a wrist..ah..may take longer. So that’s 5 games without Bynum from the beginning, and now Kobe..this is going to be crazy! Right now, it’s looking bad.

NBA CANCELS TRAINING CAMP & PRESEASON GAMES

November is really starting to look dismal, for the start of the regular season of the 2011-12 NBA season. As the owners and players continue with this lockout, players bolting to play overseas (currently there are over 50 players signed to play overseas), and now the powers that be, are still butting heads getting no closer to an agreement, we the fans will be the ones hurting. Well maybe not hurting in the “true” sense of the word, but more like disappointed that an agreement could not be hashed out between the 2 sides.
